03. There is a loose word count of 100. I understand that there are some days where you really just don't have much to say, but you need to make an effort.
04. Be respectful to all members. IC is IC. OOC is OOC. Learn the difference.
05. Follow the Proboards ToS. {link} Seriously. I don't want this website shut down because you didn't read the rules. The biggest violation that I can think of is that you cannot write about sex. You can allude to it and you can fade to black, but you cannot write the act.
06. You may only advertise in the plugboard. Links to other sites can also be posted in your profile or linked to your name on the cbox. Keep them to a minimum anywhere else.
07. If you choose to have one character per account, your signature needs to list the other characters you play. If you choose to have one account for all characters, please also post the names of all the characters that you play in your signature and be sure to specify who you are RPing with.
08. We have a character limit of three characters. However, assuming you keep those three characters active, you will more than likely be allowed more characters if you talk to a staff member.
09. You must fill out the Character Index and Play-By Claim forms. The Character Index is used by the members to put an alias to the characters you play; in addition, the staff will use it as a basis for various contests. While you may list a PB in your application, it will not be official until you post in the PB claim.
10. Only real people or realistic artworks can be play-bys. You do not, however, have to have a play-by if you do not wish it. NO ANIME OR CARTOONS.
11. Keep the cursing to a minimum, please.
12. When you join, change your name to your character's name. For example "Mary Johnson". Staff members will have their names in all capital letters.
