01. RULES. Hello! First off, you should probably read the rules here: {link}. The rules are split into a general section (general, overall rules), a graphics section (talking about size and content of graphics), and posting rules (pertaining to posting).
02. PLOT. Great! Now that you've read the rules, head on over to read our current plot: {link}.
03. CHARACTER CREATION. Think you have a feel for what this site is about now? If not, please feel free to ask a staff member for clarification. Now to make a character! Our categories are set up vertically, which may throw off people who are used to traditionally horizontal categories. Click this link to go to all things character creating: {link}.
04. APPLYING. Come {here} to create a character application. You will post it in the Pending board, but once it is accepted, it will move to the Accepted board. There are three applications to choose from; pick one to do and post your application. You don't have to wait for a staff member to accept you before going on in the process. If a staff member sees a problem, they'll PM you.
05. CLAIMS. There are two important claims that you must do (but you already knew that because you read the rules!). Click {here} to go to the claims board. Please sign up in the {play-by claim} and the {character index claim}. If you'd like, you can also sign up your character for a variety of other things, including abilities, quidditch positions, and Hogwarts staff positions.
06. PLOTTING. Now you can create a plot page for your character, or you can post a wanted ad for a personal plot you have in mind. You could even create a journal for your characters.
07. ROLEPLAY. You can now roleplay with your character! There are numerous options for you to choose from, so pick the one that seems the most interesting and go for it!
08. OTHER STUFF. Don't forget to chat with your fellow members on the cbox or in the {general boards} and have fun!
